Sample Dow Jones Images

JOHO can display financial information in many different ways. With our Daily Stock Image Service you supply your own list of stocks or mutual funds, and we provide through e-mail images such as these, updated every night. 

In one glance you can see how your stocks or funds did relative to each other in the last day or over the past month of trading. For the first time you can see up to 39 individual charts in one view, and have their historical performance ranked at the same time.

On the news you frequently hear the the Dow Jones Industrials went up or down by a number of points.  This single number cannot convey the details of what really happened to the individual stocks.

With traditional web services (Yahoo! for example), you can look at a table of the Dow Jones industrial stocks.  The list will be alphabetical, and will show the latest price of each stock.

You can then click on an individual company to draw a graph of that single stock price for the previous month. You must repeat this 30 times to see the equivalent of the first image below. And even then you will have no way on Yahoo! to rank the performance of the various stocks.

Please take a minute to explore these images.  By looking at the three groups of stocks (even by looking at the thumbnails once you get used to the images) you can quickly get a sense of how these three sectors of the market are performing. But keep in mind that each image conveys lots of information, so carefully studying an image will elicit more knowledge.
